On the stand point of prevention environment, the expectation of the hydrogen energy is increasing. In the WE-NET project, which promoted by AIST, closed cogeneration system with the hydrogen combustion diesel engine is researched and dveloped. The control of the ignition and combustion is a key technology to realize this systems. The laser ignition technique is a powerful method to investigate the optima ignition point inside the engine combustion chamber, because it is possible to make ignition at any point by using the nonintrusivity. As the first step, we have carried out a series of expeirments about the ignition of H_2-O_2-Ar mixture flows with ArF excimer laser.
