Wind hydrogen production in buenos aires province eolic resources-demonstration plant

摘要

Buenos aires is the largest province of Argentina, surrounding, the Federal District of Buencos Aires City. Its high population, major industry and great quantity of cars and diesel powered vehicles for public transportaton leads to an increasing polluted environment. All these aspects, together with the eolic potential of the region, result in appropiate conditions for the installation of a wind hydrogen demonstration plant. In this work it is presented a brief description of the geographic location of theselected site and results of the measured eolic resource. Also, the experience achieved in the local construction of windmill towares and the projected hydrogen production, storage, and its application for vehicles are considered.
