Newly emerging opportunity for pollution reduction using hydrogen as vehicular fule

摘要

There is a new important development in automotive technology in recent years which is aimed towards more efficient and less polluting vehicles. This is one of the goals of the Partnership for a New Generation of Vehicles (PNGV) launched in 1993 by the USA Government in cooperation with the three big automakers Chrysler, Ford and General Motors. The objective is to sachieve 80 miles per gallon of gasoline by a mid size sedian, i.e. to triple the existing mileage and to reduce proportionally the emissions.
