Study on the direct synthesis of sialon/sic refractory utilizing clay

摘要

The synthesis principle, process parameters, phase composition and microstructure of Sialon/SiC multiphase material directly synthesized with clay have been studied. It has been found that the new process is simple and of low cost, the obtained multiphase material has excellent properties. This study will be very helpful for the multiphase refractory to be used more widely.
