The Southern Nevada Water Authority has a mission to meet Southern nevada's Water needs with resourceful,reliable,and responsive solutions,with the rapid growth occurring in the Las Vegas Valley,responding to this challenge has been accomplished by developing a phased capital imporvements plan.the need for the imorvements was based on assessing the current supply,projecting future demands,and imporving system reliability.Methods for plannign facilities inlcuded hydraulic modeling,cash flow projections,using existing facilities to their fullest,and incremental phasing of new facilities.the result was a long term capital improvements plan for water facilities totaling
