The Montgomery County,Ohio Sanitary Engineering Department,under authouity of the Board of County Commissioners (the Board),provides water and/or wastewater service to approximately 80,000 customers in montgomery county and Greene County,Ohio.The Montgomery COunty customer base is typical for a utility of this size.Single family residential customers make up approximately 87 percent of the accounts,and consume approximately 48 percent of the water sold.At the other end of the spectrum,the county supplies industrial customers using in excess of 1,000,000 gallons of water per day.
