This graduate program was approved by the Graduate Board of the School of Architecture and planning, National University of Tucuman, Argentina, on December 16, 1987; and by the Honorable Advisory Board of this University on March 2nd, 1988. With some changes and due to lack of economic resources, was begun to dictate at the end of the year 1995. The first stage consists of six modules with a total of 430 theoretical lecture hours, practive and seminars. The second stage consist on the development of the graduates' thesis, in order to arrive at a Master's Degree on Energy Consulting. The present program offers the university graduate(engineering of architect dealing with designing, building nad controlling of dwellings, schools, industries, and their typologies) the opportunity to widen the scope of his field of knowledge in scientific aspects related to deisgn and evaluation of energy performance in buildings and groups of building. The aim is to develop a ratioal use of energy, as well as the utilization of non-conventional energies. The graduate program that is presented is the first Master on energy impact and audit in buildings that is dictated in Latin America and counts on with registration of professionals of different states of Argentina and border countries.
