New Reinforcement Technique to Construct Sustainable Infrastructure

摘要

The objective of this study is to solve various problems concerning existing reinforced concrete structues and all those dificulties caused by reinforcing bars: the problmeatic from works rust on reinforcing bars concerete deterioration due to acid rain permeation and accidents caused by the heavy weight of the steel materials. IN this study, FRP. plates and the other so-called new materials instead of reiforcing bars were used in concrete. These materials which include glass fiber have superior Young's modulus and tensile strength compared with steel materials. And they are also quite ocmpatible iwht ocncrete in the following natues: strong adhesion strength corrosion-esistance and acid-proof basiscity. From these reasons the reinforced concrete sturctures with these materials stay quite stable for a long period. In addition because such structure is liht weight it presents various merits: simple designing and cacluatin easy construction works loe possibility of accidents antiseismic stability cost reduction and others. Building a concrete structure iwht this study becomes extremely easy without requiring any particular expertise.
