Mass-energy telescope for materials analysis and charged-particle spectroscopy

A charged-particle spectrometer was constructed with a 0.75 meter flight path using channel plate detectors to measure flight times and a slid state detector to measure the ion energy. Timing and efficiency characteristics have been measured using a mass rnage of 1 to 27u and a maximum energy of 5 MeV and effeciencies for increasing mass range of 15
