'How to ensure stem seal performance for volatile organic compound applications

This paper addresses a new design standard for control valve stem seals which has been developed by the Fluid Controls Institute, or FCI. The title of the standard is "Standard for Qualification of Control Valve Stem Seals." This standard follows this paper as Appendix A. This voluntary standard, when adopted, will provide a means to compare the performance of various seal designs.
