Combining cscw with cad/cam integrated system to achieve the goal of concurrent engineering

摘要

This paper describes how to combine CSCW with CAD/CAM integrated system to achieve the goal of Concurrent Engineering, introduces a computer supported concurrent engineering cooperative work system, which includes feature based concurrent design modeling module, and computer supported cooperative work applications. The goal of Concurrent Engineering will be achieved by the cooperation, open and real time data exchanging and sharing among virtual multi-disciplinary team members from the outset.
