We created a mathematical model of sinus-atrial node to generate heart rate fluctuation under dual control of sympathetic and parasympathetic autonomic nervous systems. This model consists a set of equations describing the kinetics of concentration of neurotransmitters and integral pulse frequency modulation model deciding the timings of action potentials of sinus node. Nonlinear interaction between sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems was also considered in this model. For heart rate variability analysis, this model offers a good reference for the quantitative relationship between autonomic nervous activities and fluctuation of heart rate. Simulation by some different patterns of autonomic nervous stimulation shows the dynamic behavior of sinus node. The results coincide with the observations on previous literature.
