One of remedies to improve the quality of coke is using organic additives with coal blends. The most effective additives are deemed to be the ones based on coal pilch and oil residues.The present work has carried on a comparative study of properties of coal compositions including low and high rank coals from the Kuznetsk coal basin and high-boiling products of liquefaction of brown coal from Kansko-Achinsk coal basin.
