THE EFFECT OF PARTNER FIT ON THE ALLIANCE PERFORMANCE: THE PERSPECTIVE FROM RESOURCE-BASED VIEW AND TRANSACTION COST THEORY

摘要

This study takes advantage of resource-based and transaction cost theory to understand the influencing paths of partner fit on alliance performance. The case study results point out that the strategic fit between partners increases the translation and accumulation of intellectual capital and then promotes the alliance performance. The organization fit between the partners advances the effectiveness of governance and coordination, and then improves the alliance performance.
