This Pater describes the speed control system of an indcution commutatorless motor drive for marine machinery using a microprocessor an control unit. The induction commutatorless motor has both simple structure possessed by induction motor and good functions possessed by D.C. machine. It has found wide application in speed-adjustment system and opened up a new way of high-speed and large power in the control system. We use microporocessor to fulfil digital detection and measurement, digital regulation and triggering. In order to get better dynamic features we use two loop regulation, i.e. the speed feedback and current feedback regulation. Both regulations are PI regulation. As the sampled cycle of spped loop and the current loop is different, and the system is a multi-sampled rate control system. Using Z-transfer function, we can simulate the dynamic re-sponse of the system, and take various transient re-sponess with the help of a computer. We can, therefore, get many useful results by changing the parame-ters of the system.
