Control strategies of synchronous motor used in electrical propulsion systems

A first analysis of synchronous motor has been carried out, and then the conclusion is attained that there are at least two methods it magnetic torque of synchronous motor to be controlled is proportional to armature current. The suggested method is based on the hypothesis that armature current should be kept in phase with terminal voltage and exciting current regulated to maintain terminal voltage at a constant value.
