Integrated Risk-Uncertainty Analysis for the European Space Agency

摘要

This paper presents a method for integrated risk and uncertainty analysis by means of the computer system RISAN. The method implemented in RISAN is qualified to perform risk analyses during the conceptual design phase of technical systems by taking account of the "quality" of various types of information. It is intended to show that the investment of short analyzing time already yields quantitative results that play a significant role in risk reduction policy.
