Lean post -flame thermal destricution data are presented for polydisperse variable density solid cone sprays composed of 75/25 mixtures of 1,1,1,-trichloroethane (TCA) with heptane and TCA with hexadecane. Our goal is to explore the effects of spray density-induced droplet interactions on waste stream bloending methods aimed at imporving cclorinated yhydroacarbon incinerability.Atomaizaiton is accomplished throuh the use of a novel proefilming double-annular airblast atomizer, allowing independent variation of mean srpay density and Sauter mean droplet diameter (SMD).
