Prediction and test verification of liquid hammer in de-energized hydraulic reaction turbines

摘要

The transient behavior of radial inflow turbine generators for the case of a power failure during operation is studied for a performance model of a variable speed hydraulic reaction turbine and verified in full scale tests. Liquid hammer effects due to the change of rotational speed are studied and measured.
