A multimedia courseware on flexible automation in industrial tranining

摘要

This paper introduces a multimedia courseware on flexible automation in industrial training. It is aimed at student training or staff retraining in manufacturing enterprises on several processes of flexible automation including industrial robotics system, FMS, CIMS and several kinds of rapid prototyping techniques. They are demonstrated by a large quantity of multimedia data such as scanned photographs, drawings, sounds, video clips and animation clips, and organized in a very friendly interface using hypertext and other navigation techniques so as to meet different training purposes. This courseware has been watched in industrial training for many times. The audio-visual aids greatly enhance one's comprehension over the researching subject. So trainers can learn much more on flexible automation in a shorter period of time and in a cheaper way.
