Past form feature and manufacturing data are often referred to as new products are designed (CAD, Computer Aided Design) and manufactured (CAM, Computer Aided Manufacturing). Both data are often combined. And, the effects of design and manufacturing depend on the propriety of the selected data. In this case, the saved form feature data closest to the required specifications of the designers must be selected from a form feature database. So ar, the data has have been selected by experts based on experience. In this sutyd, form feature similarity is assessed theoretically using quantification theory type III, a theory of multivariate analysis, and a form near the shape imaged by the designer is retrieved from database. Therefore, the designer can make an imaged shape to correct the retrieved shape data and improve the efficiency of the design.
