This Proceedings is a compilation of the papers presented at the Fiftieth Annual Frontiers of Power Conference sponsored by the Engineering Energy Laboratory and the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oklahoma State University, with the support of the electric utilities in this area. This Conference is the outgrowth of research on energy conversion and energy storage started in 1961, and actively sponsored starting in 1964, by six electric utilities in this area.
