Intermittency route to chaos in a simple recurrent neural network which modifies a chaotic dynamical system is presented. Chaotic activations are arised from some different mechanisms. Intermittency is one of the mmechanisms, and it is associated with the saddle-node bifurcation. We have analysed the network's intermittency depending on the amplitude of the nonlinearlity.
