Layout of flow discharge structures on Three Gorges Project

摘要

The layout of discharge facilities in Three Gorges Project is restrained by the diversion and navigation during the construction as the Yangzi River is in a huge flood flow and an important navigation channel. Some advantages and disadvantages on the four schemes are analyzed in the paper. It seems to be a good scheme with a non-navigation in open channel and two and a half diversion.
