THE FUTURE IS IN YOUR HANDS-A MODEL PROGRAM FOR THE TRAINING OF MOLDMAKERS

The SPE Moldmaking and Mold Design Division joined with AMBA-The American Mold Builders Association-NTMA-The National Tooling and Machining Association-The SPI Moldmakers Division and TMA-The Tooling and Manufacturing Association to develop a model curriculum for the training of moldmakers.Their goal in advancing this project was to develop a national training curriculum that would help to assure that a moldmaker trained in California could bring his/her credentials to New England and the potential employer would know the training he/she had received. When the program is up and running the moldmaker will be able to bring his/her log book along as the credential.
