Concurrent engineering seems to be all the rage today and has been producing some spectacular results when it works right. But often the project gone bad is the one you hear the most about. The ensuing debacle of this process going wrong at best leaves everybody unhappy, and worse case a project getting canceled. Admitedly not entirely void of self interest this paper will try to state the Thermoforming vendor's case and offer some valid observations on making the Design process work more smoothly.
