Two-dimensional proton NOESY spectroscopy has used to examine the influence of La~(3+), Pr~(3+), Eu~(3+), Ca~(2+) and Na~+ ions on the conformation of the choline group in the bilayers of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine. The observed pattern of proton cross-relaxation reveals that N-methyl of external vesicle surface is resided near the some portion of the methylenes chains. This data shown that metal ions could not induce a conformational changes of choline group.
