The performance of OFDM HDTV terrestrial transmission system in HD-DIVINE system is good [1]. In this paper, we discuss the methods of improvement of the multi-path interference immunity in OFDM. Putting a guard period which is longer than the multi-path delay before the OFDM symbol, we find that the inter-symbol and inter-channel interference are then avoided. And sending pilots of sub-channels periodically in addition can fully reduce the mum-path effect In order to reduce the co-channel PAL interference, we slot OFDM spectrum near the positions of vision, color and sound carriers of PAL spectrum. Finally, we give the performance curves of the system in AWGN channel, multi-path channels, and co-channel PAL interference channel.
