SuperJANET: advanced networking for the UK education research community

摘要

This paper describes the background to the UK national SuperJANET project and gives an update on what has happened over the first year of what is currently a four year project. A description of the PDH/SDH, SMDS and ATM elements of the network is given. Some indication of activities over the next period is presented. References to more detailed information on the project are given.
