MCCOI: Multimedia communications community of interest

摘要

The MCCOI consortium has grown over the past year from an initial Sleering Panel grouping of 7 companies to a body involving 43 companies, most of whom are now full signatories of the MOU. They have progressed to a focused way towards dialling of equipment which supports the MCCOI vision in a pragmatic manner, paying due regard for the use of open slandards wherever possible. In Sydney, the demonstration of a number of early PC based multimedia systems which broadly conform to the early recommendations of MCCOI is extremely encouraging.
