Update on engineering studies for metropolitan's oxidation retrofit program

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) has initiated an ambitious series of ozone engineering studies as part of its Oxidation Retrofit Program (ORP). These studies are preparatory to commencing preliminary design of Metropolitan's full-scale oxidation retrofits detailed presentations of some are to be presented at this conference. This paper outlines Metropolitan's plans for moving into the design and construction of a full-scale oxidation retrofit program and updates the status of the other engineering studies currently underway.
