Higher Order Simple Adaptive Control

摘要

A higher order dynamic version of the Simple Adaptive Control methodis considered. The new direct adaptive control method, referred to asHigher Order Simple Adaptive Control, is obtained by applying a simple,well known, plant augmentation method that allows the transformationof any dynamic output-feedback control problem to one of static control.Sucient conditions are derived which relate the closed-loop stability tothe almost strictly positive realness of the plant. These conditions aregiven in terms of Linear Matrix Inequalities which allow, in turn, appli-cation to plants with polytopic type uncertainties.
