The influence of a kind and amount of the following dispersing additives: triethanolamine, hydrophobic silica-organic liquid HSL-11, Melpers 3400, additives mixture of Castament FS 10 and Castament FW 10 and Castament VP 95L on the dilution of the suspensions of fine ground mass component and on flowability under vibration of the grain mass from fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2 has been studied. With increasing of dilution and flowability the researched additives could be placed in the following order: triethanolamine → Melpers 3400 → HSL-11 → Castament FS 10 + Castament FW 10 → Castament VP 95L. The use of additives Castament VP 95L or a mixture of additives Castament FS-10 and Castament FW-10 in the amount of 0.15% provides a significantly higher mass flowability in comparison with other researched additives, and even at lower batch moisture (4.4%). The obtained results were used while improving of the technology of vibrocast crucibles from fused MgO-stabilized ZrO_2for induction melting of platinum and it's alloys.
