Development of a Control System for a Port Plug Handling Tractor for ITER

摘要

This paper describes a remote control system for a port plug handling tractor for ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor). The reactor has some ports to access its inside for maintenance of internal components. The port plug is put in the port for neutron shielding. The port plug handling tractor can remove and insert the port plug. We fabricated a 1/2.5-scaled model of the tractor, and developed the re-mote control system running on RT-Linux.
