With the evolution of the Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN),the telecommunications industry has been thrust into one of the most complex transitional Projects to ever ehallenge our competence.The paper addresses certain steps thatl if employed,would provide a framework on which the AIN couId be based.This Paper socializes the relationship betweerl service logic and service data as they relate to service creation.A method to structure software for internodal interface in the AIN is suggested,throllgh a well designed SMS system and the role it will probably assume.
