The measurement of a condition of polarization of intensive andwide-aperture laser radiation by classical methods is practicallyimpossible. One of probable paths of the solution of this measurementsis the use of thin-wire bolometric grid convertors having high opticaldurability, small lag, absence of restrictions on a maximum size of thesource aperture and being polarizing elements. This work justifies atechnique of a measurement of main parameters of elliptic polarizationof radiation (relative semiaxes of an ellipse and their angulardirections in a cut of the optical beam) by three bolometric grids withnonlinear performances of transformation caused by linear temperatureassociations of main bolometer physical parameters
