90/180 GHz millimeter wave radiometer for future airborne measurements

摘要

A 90/180 GHz multichannel radiometer was developed using a common lens antenna and dual corrugated feedhorns. The radiometer was designed to mount in a modified window port on NASA's Convair 990 (CV-990) aircraft. The operating bandwidths of the instrument's three IF channels coincide with the proposed AMSU sensor scheduled for future space borne measurements.
