The responsibilities of an editor

摘要

This paper presents observations and recommendations of a writer, editor, reviewer and publisher. It addresses the conventional publishing arrangements of academic presses and the emerging of corporate publishing, especially "desk-top publishing." This is not a discussion of technology but one of human responsibility toward people and the quality of information.
