We have developed an adjacent electromagnetic field distribution measurement system using a unique sensor and three-input phase-difference measurement system that can simultaneously measure vector electric and magnetic field distributions up to 6 GHz with about 1 mm spatial resolution. The system is useful for analyzing the EMC issue between digital and radio circuit in mobile communication equipment. The Poynting vector distribution across the measured plane can be estimated from vector electric and magnetic field distributions on the plane measured by this system. The distribution gives us useful information for understanding an antenna and emissions.
