This paper deals with study of the hybrid distributed generator based on solar photovoltaic and wind operated permanent magnet synchronous generator. In this distributed generator system, both the sources are connected together to the load with the help of only one boost converter through an inverter. This paper focused on new topology, the hybrid distributed generator contain PV array is directly connected to dc link instead of being connected through a dc-dc converter. To track the maximum power, the perturb and observe algorithm is employed. The steady state investigation of the system is studied and modeling and simulation of solar photovoltaic and wind operated permanent magnet synchronous generator has been analyzed in MATLAB-SIMULINK.
