摘要

In a deregulated power system, the loss in the transmission lines are varied depending on the participation of generator and load. This paper proposes an optimal tracing based loss allocation in the transmission lines. The proportional sharing principle (PSP) is used to trace the power flow in the transmission lines. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is used for the optimization of power flow. The proposed methodology is tested on IEEE 14 bus test system.
