Poly (#alpha#-hydroxy acid)s are a group of synthetic biodegradable polymers that have received great interest for many years. Due to their well-known safety in vivo, they are widely applied in drug delivery system. But because of their hydrophobic nature, they are invalid in delivering of water soluble drugs.
