The aim of this paper is to present an R&D Spanish project that has developed a new DVB-SI table generator and EPG management system focused on the small and medium DTT operators that will need a solution economically viable in the switch over scenario that does not exist today. Small and medium regional and local operators will need to aggregate different contents into a single multiplex that will be broadcast using a DTT network (or any other covered by this new technology) based on open source SW solution proposed by the project. The solution also provides a versatile tool to unify EPG data while a DVB-SI table customized is created and injected into the transmission system.
