Mechanical-thermal noise in vibrational gyroscopes

We derive an expression for the angle random walk for a vibrational gyro due to mechanical thermal noise. We compare the noise effects on the output signal to the effect of the rotation rate, rather than 'back up' the noise to the rotation rate. We avoid ambiguity concerning the bandwidth, and show a factor of two reduction in noise power due to synchronous demodulation.
