The application of a DSP multiprocessor subsystem in voice box system

The structure of a DSP multiprocessor subsystem is discussed, which is designed to meet the requirements of a kind of voice mail box system. This multiprocessor subsystem is based on the TDM (time division multiplexed) port of the TMS320C50. Detailed information about the initialization and frame scheduling is also given. It can be applied in other situations which require multichannel digital signal processing, not just in the field of speech processing.
