We consider a class of uncertain dynamical systems containing uncertain elements without a priori information except that they are bounded. In deterministic design of feedback controllers for such systems, bounds on the uncertainties are an important clue to guarantee the asymptotic stability or uniform ultimate boundedness of the closed-loop system. But, sometimes these bounds may not be easily obtained because of the complexity of structure of the uncertainties. In this paper, based on the estimation of the bound of the uncertainties, we propose an adaptive control which renders the uncertain dynamical systems uni formly ultimately bounded.
