Composite coatings formed using electrochemical microplasma processes have high stability to mechanical wear and corrosion. It allows to put and to solve a problem of replacement of steel parts in oil industry by aluminium alloys with microplasma coatings. The research was executed on samples of aluminium alloys D-16, AL-7 and V-95. The following requirements apply to protective coatings on these parts: high hardness and adhesion, wear resistance, high corrosion resistance in aggressive environment, uniformity of coating quality and thickness on all processed surfaces.
