Econmic development and environmental protection strategies for the pearl river delta area

The Pearl River Delta system, also called the Prearl River Delta economic zone, discussed in this paper means the area that was delimited by the Goverment of Guangdong Province, including Guangzhou, Shengzhen, Zhauhai, Foshan, Jiangmen, Zhongshan, Dongguan municipalities, Huicheng and Huiyang districts, Huidong and Bolou counties that are under the Huzou municipality jurisdiction, the Duanzhou and Denghui districts and two cities named Gaoyao and Sihui respectively which are under jurisdiction of municipality of Zhaoquiing.
