PURPOSE: An environment-friendly method for purifying contaminated river water is provided to discharge water of a reservoir by adjusting a sluice gate automatically by detecting a water level or water speed of the reservoir. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly method for purifying contaminated river water includes the following steps of: installing a plurality of sensors(31) of a reservoir space; transmitting a detected signal to an integral control system(30) by detecting or observing the speed of river water or a water level; measuring the water amount transferred to the reservoir space: driving an operation unit through the integral control system; adjusting the openness of the sluice gate; and discharging the river water through the sluice gate.
