Methods for arbitrary interconnection of building blocks for SAW devices

In this paper various network analysis methods for the interconnection of building blocks used for Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) devices are described. A practical example is given to demonstrate the principles of a method which can be used to analyze a SAW device consisting of arbitrary interconnected building blocks. Some more simple procedures are also discussed. The paper concludes with a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of the various methods.
